I have a Univox Superfuzz. It looks like this: www.univox.org/pics/effects/superfuzz_red.gifthough Stevie Turner used an earlier model that looked more like this: www.univox.org/pics/effects/superfuzz_black.gifthey are almost impossible to find. I got one 6 years ago on Ebay from the US. Cost a lot. The trouble is also when they break - you're screwed. They stopped making them 30 years ago. You can buy pedals that sound like them - indeed some manufacturer made a clone like Superfuzz a few years ago. You want an original late 60s or 70s one - it's Ebay and it'll cost ya big bucks. Happy hunting.

the sound is too indistinct, and actually not that fuzzy or distorted, it sounds like crap distortion basically!! i dont have a strat but the other guitarist in my band does and using the pedals separatly makes a more crunchy fatter sound, together they sound like cheap shitty distortion!! basically there is not enough note definition for my liking!!
