yeah ! awesome band ! I saw them back in 2001 when they played over here, a fuckin rocking show !
also, really easygoing dudes, especially Ruben. Eddie seemed very quiet.

Well the new album Apollo is.... just like all their other albums  So no need for alarm. New bass dude seems ok (how many bassists have they gone thru now- 4?). They coulda spent a bit more time on the artwork.... it's a bit lame. I interviewed Nebula for some fanzine thang a few years ago back when thay had a different bassist (who seemed to last one tour) and they were lovely. Eddie doesn't look the.... healthiest of dudes, but he's ok. Nebula are the Ramones or Motorhead of boogie stoner rock I guess. Wonder if they're coming over to the UK again? They've never really played anywhere bigger than the Underworld..... more people should make the schlep out to see them live! |

It's NOT bad. It's good. It's possibly very good. Possiby. On FIRST listen nothing stood out as say 'So It Goes' or 'Do It Now'. Certainly no 'Down The HIghway' on this record. But I admit I've only heard it once at work (not the best enviroment to listen to new records) so before I come to a personal judgement on it I need to go home, pour myself a brew, sit back and give it another listen. Still think the artwork makes the text a bit hard to read and the image is a bit crappy... But hey - again it's just a niggling complaint |
