Yes i think we are all aware that steve can be a bit up-himself sometimes but lets not forget his work (Production-wise & Music-wise) he is a guy who knows what he's doing,And despite what he's said past and present Big Black,Rapeman and Shellac never fail to let me down and remember how many bands he's inspired with his music to.Yeah also shellac rule live!!!

yep all true, but lets not forget NONE off his music is even half as good as mudhoney, so he really has no legs to stand on in that respect!

Albini's quite a card isn't he? I remember him totally slagging off Surfer Rosa saying that he liked "the drumming", but said the band "were lead by their nose rings by their management". he also said during the recording of Pod that if he was to drink Kim Deal's urine he would piss rosewater. Or something like that.

He also said kim deal has the best voice he's ever heard from a female,and hey thorn even though this is a mudhoney forum there is really no need to compare the two man they are both great bands end of story.  |
