I just feel like staring a new topic about Mudhoney. So what are your opinions of this frankly amazing album and definetly the best album they've released and one of the best albums of the 90's? What songs are your personal highlights? Dont Fade IV (whats with the IV bit?) and check-out time are two of the best songs i've ever heard. I remember one time at a party lying on my back in me friends living room incapable of walking and listening to them two songs on full blast. Nothing compared to it, I was so happy listening to that album whilst eveyone else mingled with each other and every now and then them shouting "YOU OK PHIL?" and me murming "mmrr" whilst having a big grin on my face. Happy days

Broken Hands is awesome, it sounds so sad in a way Equote] Along with "By her own hand" and "Running loaded" they are probably the sad songs they did. All the other songs they did had a certain wry smile with it.

It's not my top Mudhoney album, but any Mudhoney album is a masterpiece! ;D My favorite song off of it is "Good Enough"! Yeah I agree, Good enough is a great song. Does anyone know how Dan gets his drums to sound like they do on that song?

I can only guess at fast snare rolls. And the snare is probably very very tight.
