Well, I got a mint vinyl copy of Clean As a Broke Dick Dog on eBay for the devilish price of £6.66 (!)
As expected it rocks - sounds like the band had a lot of fun recording it too. From reading the previous posts it seems as though they're just as good as Mudhoney live!
Anyone know somewhere online where I can buy the limited Estrus vinyl of Electric Children? Estrus themselves only do old fashioned mail-order...

Re: the Estruz vinyl version of Electric Children - it's not something I've seen come up that often on UK Ebay... haven't been busting a gut to look for it on Ebay.com - but now ya come to mention it.... it's one thing I am kinda missing in my collection (along with the Australian version of Mudhoney 'Mudhoney' on Au Go Go). I treasure my red vinyl 7" version of Bottle Up And Go!! Got Clean As A Broke Dick Dog when it came out on vinyl - what a fine album it is.

You Sir are a Scholar and a Gentleman and I doff my hat to you! Touché!!! A fine example of the rarely spotted pink vinyl version of Bottle Up And Go! WOW! When did ya get it? I take it you were a Sub Pop Singles Club sunscriber? mmmm - I want one! hey smallstone, fun you ask, since i bought it from ebay uk! about one year ago this guy popped up there and started selling away his AMAZING sub pop collection (he asked high prices, too). he had some incredibly rare items. i as the only one to bid on that monkeywrench 7", but if i had the cash i would've happly bought many other things he had for sale... here's a good example. most of you probably know/own tad's "jinx" 7" on cream yellow vinyl (it's very common after all). well then, take a look at the splatter purple and ice white vinyl versions, both WAY more uncommon. each item he had up for auction came with nice pictures... wish i'd saved more of those. as for the monkeywrench, despite their very short tenure on the label, sub pop still managed to put out quite a few rare items. if you're very lucky, you may have managed to score the first album's test pressing, on pink wax. if you don't care about test pressing, you may own the "regular" purple and yellow versions... but only the braves have gone to the lenghts of hunting down the really rare stuff, such as said album on white vinyl and the blue vinyl! very, very rare stuff indeed. here's a picture. wish i had them all... hope you enjoy!! oh yes--those borderline shows were INTENSE. good times!

Fine fine collection there man. I went thru a rabid Mudhoney/Sub Pop Ebay collecting phase a year or two ago but kinda slacked off last year as it was kind of getting out of hand! Starting saving my Paypal bucks to buy a nice guitar - just wiped my account out getting a wee amp too. Just starting to build it up again - you're inspiring me to track some of these beauties down. There's just something about rare Sub Pop coloured vinyl.... It's like the yellow LP vinyl version of Eight Way Santa by Tad. With the 'banned' cover. I mean is that rare? Is there somewhere where one can find out all the pressing quantities of this kind of thing? Had Record Collector ever done a Mudhoney or early Sub Pop piece? Re: Tad 'Jinx' - yup I've got the yellow vinyl version Still love it though.

Here's the art work for the new monkeywrench album designed by Tim Kerr. So doesn't look like its the artwork that is holding up the release... incidentally the total sound group record has also been put back so theres another release date that's going to push back this record: www.timkerr.net/news_img/MWcover_draft.jpg
