That's true. The first album had distorted guitars flying all over the shop but has a killer melody behind it. Why did he have to turn the distortion down? Bastard.

I dunno, I dont think he turned it down. Look at DOA thats heavy but it's got such a sheen on it that it doesn't sound heavy.

Move the fuck on, this is how the Foo Fighters sound, if some of you want them to go back to their old sound, I guess it's time to discover some new bands. No offense, but sometimes there's a little too much talk about the Pixies, the Foos and Sonic Youth while there are so much more great bands out there.

I'd have to agree with norecess you dont have to look to far for new or better bands even,Of course none of use will forget the self titled foo's album and the color and the shape and as quoted by thurston moore in a song PAT SMEAR but lets leave the new foos to whoever enjoys it yeah.

Besides, I kow plenty of bands who would beat the shit out of those bands you've mentioned if they would meet each other  |
