So did anyone go see Nebula on their recent Euro jaunt? I noticed they were playing London at Dingwalls on the same weekend as the 1st ATP session... so couldn't go. Read a few reviews of said show and they were generally favourable.... but stil not digging new album and believe me I've tried. By the time I get to Fever Frey I just have to switch it off. Really love all their other stuff too... maybe I've just hit the Nebula wall!! But seems to me when you've got folks like Boris and Comets On Fire sort of pushing the boudaries with every release Nebula just seem to be standing still a bit. There's nothing wrong with standing still musically at all - if they wanna make the same album 5 times then that really is up to them - and who am I to complain.... but I dunno just seems sorta tired at the moment? I would have liked Nebula to have played ATP actually - that would have been cool - maybe in that setting it would have made more sense. 'Cos Dingwalls is a crap venue. I know Mudhoney were sort of close to them at one point - guess schedules didn't match up.

couldnt disagree more man!! love the new album, they are in thier element rocking out, they know how to write fantastically tight and imaginative songs. man if you can play half as good as eddie i take my hat off to you coz, eddie is one of the best guitarists around at the moment, and his voice is soooooooooo cool!!! i really dont think theyve made the same album 5 times, just because they dont change thier sound doesnt mean thier crap! im actually glad that someone still knows how to rock coz most new music these days really sucks!!!
