a) Great news about ATP at Xmas with DKT/MC5 - Thurstons day. I am there 100%!!! It's gonna be amazing! b) Films wise - didn't see much but I think they had on Kill Bill 1&2 and History Of Violence. Other than that I didn't see the TV much. Sorry

yes it's true, DKT MC5 featuring Mudhoney's Mark Arm, Wolf Eyes, Dead C, and Bardo Pond have been added to the lineup for ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas weekender, which conveniently takes place just before Christmas... The Nightmare Before Christmas takes place at Butlins Holiday Centre, Minehead, from 8-10 December. Curated by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, it's perhaps not a massive surprise that Sonic Youth are headlining along with their buddies, Iggy & The Stooges. Click here for ALL TOMORROW'S PARTIES The Nightmare Before Christmas site and for the full lineup: www.atpfestival.com/events/nightmare/The Nightmare Before Christmas winter weekender is now in its third year. The event is run by the good folk from All Tomorrow's Parties, all of them seasoned experts in ensuring oscure indie lineups and chalet shenanigans. Tickets are on sale now priced around £115 per person depending on sleeping arrangements. What i mean is all the other ATP'S that have taken place there hasnt really been headliners just lots of bands playing.Atp never really made a big deal of bands headlining but now everyone is like oh sonic youth and the stooges headlining it which is odd cause everyother year there hasnt really been a headliner or something like that. ;D

What really suprises me is that sonic youth & the stooges headline [...] Where did you get that info? As far as I know, ATP itself isn't advertising their festival with Sonic Youth or the Stooges at all - that's just how others refer to it (in this case most likely the DKT/MC5 webpage, probably done to - of course - get their fans to ATP).
