ya, can someone now decipher them? On Steve's, I see the big muff. What's between the tuner and the mudhoney pedal? What kind wah pedal is that?
I know the pic makes it hard to see some of this stuff, but what does Mark have going on?

Oh man! This is Mudhoney pedal porn!! Excellent stuff!!! So now we got to figure out what they are!! So Steves is l tor: Big Muff, Boss Chromatic Tuner, some weird Overdrive Preamp 200 (?!!!! DOD?) then a TREX Mudhoney pedal into some weird Wah Wah or Fuzz Wah!! Not his usual Coloursound Fuzz Wah - maybe he only takes that on foreign trips...?....  It might be an Electro Harmonix Fuzz - Ive seen this before. As for Mark l to r: looks like a EH Sovtek Smallstone (yay!!) Phaser, then a weird looking ... thing!! must be his octave job?, then another of those Overdrive Preamp DOD 200s!!!, then that is boutique fuzz box, one of those bespoke jobs!! Or maybe it's not!! NEVER seen anything like that. Yeah - Steve is kinda endorsing the TRex Mudhoney. We should lobby those guys to send him one:) This is great though. I'm gonna track down what that Wah is of Steves!! |

I think he's had it a long time as I have a photo of him from a guitar mag circa '91 and EGBDF with one...

I think you may be right!! Welcome to the board as well  ! I do remember once reading that Mark had a custom built bedspoke style pedal stuck in the body of a Boss (or similar) pedal. But either way that certainly looks like one. If we could just find out what that chrome pedal is..... Not 100% sure that is a EH/Sovtek Smallstone..... it has the big switch that those re-issue Smallstones had - before EH got going properly and made them look retro. Mark does use Phaser though so... |
