In the heavier than heaven book it says that (I'm saying this from memory, i'm trying to redocarate my room and my books are all stored away) Kurt was always trying to be mates with him and Mark hated that purely cos he didn't like him. Or something like that. But yes in the magazine he does seem to have alot of respect for him.

Mark was friends with the man, not the legend...

Remember this is the same guy who thought Mark and Steve were sXe when they started Mudhoney. Still, it's nicely formulated indeed ;]

As for the heroine references by MarkArm in the music their influence is felt the most (in my opinion) in Green River's last record - Rehab Doll ....as apposed to Mudhoney

''Remember this is the same guy who thought Mark and Steve were sXe when they started Mudhoney''
If you had read my later post, you would have seen the correction I made. Obviously Steve and Mark were not straight-edge when they started Mudhoney. What I meant to say was they were clean when they formed Mr. Epp, but I wrote Mudhoney for some reason. I made a mistake. Cut me a break pal...

Don't take it too serious man, I was just making an observation. I know what you were trying to say about Mark and Steve, but I had just ran out of smileys, that's all.
Edit: Just found out I put an alternative smiley in my previous post. Does that count too?
